Mercy Learning Center In Bridgeport Seeks Volunteer Tutors For Fall

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Mercy Learning Center is seeking volunteer tutors for the fall, to be paired with one or more of the center's adult female students.

No experience is necessary. All volunteer tutors attend a one-day training and receive ongoing support and professional development throughout the year. The time commitment is as little as four hours a week, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. All tutoring is done at Mercy Learning Center, with all of the educational resources on hand to assist you.

New tutor trainings will be offered on the following dates: Aug. 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sept. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Sept. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
